• Tiff with Co-Actress
In 2009, in an interview, Sudeepa shared that while shooting for the film ‘Just Maath Maathalli,’ the Indian actress Ramya behaved rudely on the sets. Ramya also passed some negative comments against Sudeepa. Later, they resolved their issues.
• Accused of Slapping a Film Director
In 2010, he was accused of slapping the Indian film director Sagar. However, he denied the rumours and said that he never misbehaved with his colleagues.
• Problem with the Indian Actor Dr. Shiva Rajkumar
In 2011, there were rumours that during one of his cricket matches, he had a fight with the Indian actor Dr. Shiva Rajkumar. However, when Sudeepa was asked about it, he said that their fans were responsible for creating misunderstandings between them.
• Cheating Allegations by Film Producers
In 2023, the Indian film producer MN Kumar organised a press conference and accused Sudeepa of ignoring Kumar after taking an advance payment for a film which he had taken seven years ago. Later, Sudeepa filed a defamation case against Kumar. Kumar's allegations was supported by another film producer Rehman. Rehman said that he once made an advance payment of Rs 5 lakh to Sudeepa but got only Rs 1.80 lakh in return.
• Twitter War with Ajay Devgn
In 2022, he made a tweet that 'Hindi is no more a national language.' The Indian actor Ajay Devgn did not like this comment and tweeted 'Hindi will always be our national language.' Their comments started a war on Twitter and people also started commenting on their tweets.
