Biography
Asha Negi was born on 23 August 1989 in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. She completed her schooling in Dehradun and earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from DAV College. In 2009, she won the title of Miss Uttarakhand, which marked the start of her modelling and acting journey. Her early work involved ad-shoots and auditions before moving to Mumbai to pursue full-time acting. Over time, she became one of Indian television’s most recognisable faces.

Career Life
Asha Negi made her television debut in 2010 with the series Sapnon Se Bhare Naina, playing the role of Madhura. In 2011, she achieved her breakthrough with the role of Purvi Deshmukh Kirloskar in the popular soap opera Pavitra Rishta, a performance that earned her widespread recognition. She later ventured into hosting and reality TV, winning the dance reality show Nach Baliye 6 in 2013 alongside her partner. More recently, she expanded into web series and films, including her debut film role in Ludo (2020).

Personal Life
Asha Negi comes from a family based in Dehradun; her mother is Beena Negi. During her time on Pavitra Rishta, she began a high-profile relationship with actor Rithvik Dhanjani in 2013; the couple won Nach Baliye 6 together. They parted ways in 2020 after seven years together. In her personal life, she is known for being grounded, prioritising her craft, and staying connected to her Uttarakhand roots, often speaking about overcoming challenges and staying resilient in the entertainment industry.
