Ashish Sharma, born on August 30, 1984, in Jaipur, Rajasthan, is an Indian actor known for his work in television and film. He began his career with the 2010 film Love Sex Aur Dhokha and made his television debut the same year in Gunahon Ka Devta. Sharma gained widespread recognition for his role as Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat in the Colors TV show Rangrasiya (2014), which earned him critical acclaim. He also won Season 7 of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa in 2014. In 2019, he portrayed Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the web series Modi: A Journey of a Common Man.

Ashish Sharma married actress Archana Taide on January 30, 2013, in a traditional Hindu ceremony in Jaipur, followed by a Christian wedding in Goa and a court marriage. They met in 2004 in Bangalore and dated for nine years before tying the knot. The couple shares a strong bond, often sharing glimpses of their life together on social media. Tragically, in April 2025, Ashish's wife Ruchi passed away due to an unfortunate incident. Ashish expressed his grief on Instagram, mourning the loss of his beloved partner.
