• Criticised for Sexual Assault Prank
In 2018, she tweeted that she pranked her bodyguard Max by sending a prostitute in his room. The lady entered his room without his consent and touched him wrongly. The netizens criticised Demi for this and said that it was sexual assault on him. Later, Demi deleted the tweet and apologised to the netizens.
• Offensive Poster
In 2023, one of her posters was banned. In the poster, she was seen lying over a crucifix-shaped bed, wearing a bondage-style outfit.
