He gained prominence portraying Jay Krishna ("JK") in the Colors Kannada soap opera Ashwini Nakshatra (2013–2015). His notable roles include playing Raavana in Siya Ke Ram (2016) and participating as a finalist in Bigg Boss Kannada 5 (2017). Beyond acting, Karthik is also a qualified engineer and a passionate sports enthusiast. He has appeared in various Kannada films and continues to be active in the industry.
