Kiara Advani was born on 31 July 1991 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, to Jagdeep Advani, a Sindhi Hindu businessman, and Genevieve Jaffrey, a teacher of Scottish-Irish-Portuguese-Spanish ancestry. She graduated from Jai Hind College, Mumbai, with a BA in Mass Communications. Originally named Alia Advani, she adopted the screen name “Kiara” before her first film release. Her multicultural roots and Mumbai upbringing offered her exposure to many influences, setting the stage for her future in Hindi and Telugu cinema.
Career Life
Kiara advanced into films in 2014 with the comedy Fugly, which under-performed but marked her debut. She then gained broader recognition with a supporting role in M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016).
