Biography
Kyle Steven Gallner was born on October 22, 1986, in West Chester, Pennsylvania, to Larry and Mary Jane Gallner. He has three siblings: an older sister, a younger brother, and a younger sister. Gallner began his acting career at the age of 14, accompanying his sister to an audition, which led to his first role in the film Wet Hot American Summer (2001) . He attended West Chester East High School and underwent open-heart surgery at the age of four .

Career Life
Gallner gained recognition for his roles in television series such as Veronica Mars (2005–2006), where he portrayed Cassidy "Beaver" Casablancas, and CSI: NY (2006–2010), where he played Reed Garrett . He is also known for his work in horror films, earning the title of "scream king" for his performances in The Haunting in Connecticut (2009), Jennifer's Body (2009), A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010), Red State (2011), Smile (2022), and Scream (2022) . In addition to his acting career, Gallner co-founded the independent production company Minutehand Pictures in 2013.

Personal Life
Gallner married Tara Ferguson on December 12, 2015, in an outdoor ceremony . The couple met in August 2011 at a karaoke bar in Burbank, California, and have two sons together . Ferguson is a creative entrepreneur who previously owned a vintage clothing shop
