Malaika Arora was born on October 23, 1973, in Thane, India, to a Punjabi father and a Malayali Catholic mother. She began her career as a model and gained prominence as a VJ on MTV India. Malaika made her Bollywood debut with the iconic song "Chaiyya Chaiyya" in the film Dil Se (1998), which catapulted her to fame. Over the years, she has appeared in several hit songs like "Munni Badnaam Hui" (Dabangg, 2010) and "Pandey Ji Seeti" (Dabangg 2, 2012). She also ventured into acting and film production, co-founding Arbaaz Khan Productions with her former husband, Arbaaz Khan.

In early 2025, she began a relationship with actor Dino Morea.
