Biography
Sussanne Khan was born on 26 October 1975 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, to actor-filmmaker Sanjay Khan and interior-designer/actress Zarine Khan. Her family combines diverse heritage: her father has Afghan-Iranian ancestry, while her mother comes from a Parsi background. Sussanne earned an Associate of Arts degree in Interior Design from Brooks College, California (1995). She grew up alongside siblings — including actor Zayed Khan and jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali — in a household blending cinema and design influences.

Career Life
After graduating in 1995, Sussanne began working in interior design — first assisting and then taking on independent projects. In 2011 she co-founded The Charcoal Project, India’s first conceptual home store, which helped redefine luxury interiors in India. Her design style is known for blending industrial, vintage and contemporary sensibilities — a signature “fusion” aesthetic. Over the years she has designed private residences, retail spaces, villas, and corporate interiors, building a reputation as one of India’s top interior designers and entrepreneurs in the lifestyle-design segment.

Personal Life
Sussanne married prominent actor Hrithik Roshan in 2000 after four years of dating. The couple had two sons: Hrehaan Roshan and Hridhaan Roshan. They divorced in 2014, but continue to co-parent their children amicably. As of recent years, Sussanne has been in a relationship with actor Arslan Goni. She maintains a busy social and professional life, balancing motherhood, her design ventures and personal growth.
