• Criticised for her Comments on Jallikattu
In 2017, she tweeted that the traditional festival Jallikattu was an animal cruelty festival. However, her comments were not received well and she even received rape and death threats. Later, she deleted her tweet.
• Conflict with Mansoor Ali Khan
A conflict arose between Trisha and Mansoor Ali Khan, an actor and politician, when Mansoor expressed regret for not having a "bedroom scene" with her in the film 'Leo' during a press conference in November 2023. Trisha later responded to Mansoor's remarks through a post on X, calling him sexist, disrespectful, misogynistic, repulsive, and in bad taste. Mansoor issued an apology to Trisha on X on 24 November 2023, which she accepted with the words 'To err is human, to forgive is divine.' However, on 28 November 2023, Mansoor announced his intention to file a defamation case and sue Trisha. He labelled his earlier apology as the "biggest joke."
